Our Love
Story
We walked the same halls for five long years, at Jonathan Grant, where life shifted gears. Shared history class — but never got near, not a "hello," not even a wave.
Just stolen glances we both never gave. Andre was cool, loud with his crew, Jada stayed tucked in her corner view. Books were her thing, while he ruled the scene. Two different lives, like a movie screen.
But love? Oh, love has perfect aim, and in 2021, it called our name. April 1st — a DM slid through, (No, not a prank — this one was true.)
We started as friends, just talking at night, up 'til 2AM under soft screen light. While Jada studied, Andre stayed near, praying her through every doubt and fear.
When three exams came on a single day, and Jada cried, unsure she'd stay —Andre was there, with faith and calm, wrapped her heart in prayer and balm.
From friendship bloomed a sweet romance, with God at the center, we gave love a chance.
One special date, he asked her, "Be mine?"
She said "Yes!" and the stars aligned.
Since then, our love has only grown, from once-strangers to forever known. Who knew the quiet and the bold would blend? From classmates… to partners… to best friends.
Now we're walking down the aisle with grace, hand in hand, hearts in place. God took His time — we’re glad he did, to give us a love we’d never forbid.
